Declared as Tiger Reserve, the Sanctuary’s 26 sq.km artificial lake, which serves as a watering hole for the animals during summer, adds to the experience.You are then taken back to the hotel where you can enjoy overnight stay.
Pleasant journey from Thekkady to Kumarakom initiates after breakfast. You can check into the hotel on arrival at Alappuzha / Kumarakom and relax for a while. After which you can indulge in adventurous activities, like fishing, village walk and optional boating in narrow canals.Kayaking is a major sport in the State that has earned laurels both nationally and internationally.
