Day 1: Kochi
You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by the travel planner’s/ our representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for sightseeing of Kochi, known as the ‘Queen of Arabian Sea’. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping.
Day 2: Munnar
Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 130 kms /4 hrs enroute visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by major tea plantation companies. On arrival check into the hotel.
Day 3: Sightseeing at Munnar
Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, Pothamedu etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stay in Munnar Resorts.
Day 4: Thekkady
Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. After lunch, visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to hotel you can stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices.
Day 5: Houseboat (Backwaters)
Fifth day morning after breakfast, proceed to Alapuzha, known as the Venice of the East.On arrival check into a Traditional Houseboat of Kerala Style and cruise through the backwaters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of backwaters.
Day 6: Kovalam – Thiruvananthapuram
Today morning after breakfast, disembark houseboat and drive to Kovalam (Thiruvananthapuram). On arrival check in to the Resort. Evening free to relax at the Beach.
Day 7: Kovalam -Thiruvananthapuram
Today morning after breakfast you can go for the sightseeing of Thiruvananthapuram [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260 year old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, covering an area of 2400 sq Km, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200 year old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja’s], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, Zoo, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening relax at Resort
Day 8: Departure
Morning after breakfast departure to Thiruvananthapuram Airport or Railway Station.
